About Chinako
Chinako is my alias name and often seen on my convention badges, or as the tag name I use for my sites. My real name is Jeannette and I was born January 10. I am a Capricorn, blood type A+, and also born under the Chinese Zodiac sign of the Rooster. I am hard-headed and ambitious and always strive to better my craft. I consider myself to be a positive force within the cosplay community.
I've always liked sewing and creating things with my hands, so when I discovered cosplay it was a natural love that soon followed. I make everything from scratch, measuring twice and cutting once. I find that I really enjoy creating the little accessories the best - beaded designs, earrings, carefully painted details, etc. I have a love for simple cosplay that incorporate a lot of little details!
I've been lucky enough to have some of my cosplay displayed in galleries. I also get a lot of compliments on my variety of cosplay designs. I have an on-going list of cosplay I hope to accomplish and I don't have a "retired" date for myself just yet!
It's been over ten years since my first, offical cosplay, and this site is my way of thanking everyone for their support and hugs over the years! I hope I can continue to breathe life into my favorite characters for a long time to come. Thank you all for visiting and please say hello if you see me at a convention!
