Moogle (Original Design) from Final Fantasy

A moogle is cute little flying creature who often is the save point throughout the Final Fantasy games. They can fly and often have villages within many of the games. They are easily recognized by their white fur, demon-like wings, and pom-poms that dangle from the top of their heads.

 How I Made It

I finally used my first pattern for this design! This was also my first attempt at a Princess Stitch and I'm super pleased with how it came out! Dress, arm warmers, and ears are all sewn from polar fleece, with purple felt used for the inside of the ears. The pom-pom is my own secret design and attached to adjustable wire so I can wear it however I choose (up, down, to either side, even to the back). The wings are craft form and attached to a wire harness to keep them in place. Wig, tights, and boots were store bought.

I make and sell moogle ears complete with pom-pom, and thought it was about time that I created my own moogle girl costume to show them off. Contact me if you’re interested in owning a pair and we can talk details!
