Wyldstyle (The Lego Movie) & Ghost (Original Design)

This Halloween Ember asked to be a ghost, and Kelsey wanted to be Wyldstyle from The Lego Movie. I decided to make their costumes the easy way and we all had a great time going around trick-or-treating for candy.
How I Made It
Ember's ghost was the easiest as all I needed to do was make her a tutu that fastened with a white ribbon. She wore it over a white shirt and black pants (to appear as though she was floating).
Kelsey's Wyldstyle costume involved buying a black jogging outfit. Once that arrived, I painted the right side of the jacket and pants with neon pink and blue fabric paint in a spray-painted filigree style. I also lined the hood of the jacket with pink fabric to mimic Wyldstyle's hood color. Once Kelsey had it on, I pulled her hair into a side ponytail and ran pink and blue hair chalk through her loose hair to match the hair colors Wyldstyle has. She was super happy with everything!
