Personality: De'Von is a bit of a brute. He speaks his mind and this often times gets him in trouble. His defense is that he only speaks the truth and believes that everyone else should as well. He seems intimidating and likes to appear that way.
History: Child - De'Von always wanted to be different and he liked to hold dominance over the kids in the playground. He quickly became known as the school bully and his parents were embarrassed greatly by this fact. They brought him to counseling against his will in the hopes that he would change. He did change, just not for the better.
Pre-Teen - Keeping up his bullying habits, De'Von was the kid to avoid during middle school. He was known to pick on the new kids and tease the older ones until everyone was afraid of him. The only good thing about being in a class with him, was that he would most likely say what was on his mind and be thrown out. After multiple teachers complaining about him to the principle, he was thrown out of his public middle school, and forced to attend a private (very structured) middle school for those who were trouble-makers. Soon after this transition, he dropped out of school completely.
Present - De'Von has out-grown his bullying days and now hopes to go back to school to finish middle school and go on to at least earn his GED. He isn't on speaking terms with either of his parents, and thus has been living on his own since he was about twelve. He works at a local record store selling CDs, DVDs, comic books, pins, magnets, band tee-shirts, and toys. He now puts his aggression into his looks and style, as well as using finger painting as an outlet.
