History: Child - Wolf grew up as the only child of an Alpha mother in a loving and caring small pack of wolves. Never knowing what had become of his father, he admired his mother very much and her constant, unmatched skills at everything she did--whether it was hunting, caution within other territories, keeping her pack in line, or simply her motherly instinct--Wolf loved it all and his mother knew that. She often taught him many things she had learned herself over the course of her life, but most importantly she bestowed upon him the gift of cautious wisdom, and with that came the ability to not only communicate with other animals, but also to communicate with humans as well.
Preteen - It was during this time that his pack family became very sick. His mother warned him of a poison that she felt she had unknowingly fed to the pack and kept him away from the kill she had made. Wolf was very worried about his pack, but especially about his mother, and he ended up spending every moment beside her. The entire pack soon died, leaving only Wolf and his very ill mother. When she was at her weakest, she told Wolf to go and hunt, for she knew the winds had changed and more deer were present now. Although he didn't want to leave her, Wolf felt almost as weak as his mother looked and he decided to take her advice. After promising to let her have the first bites, he left her side and put everything she had taught him to perfect use. Upon his return with the fresh kill, he found he could not wake his mother and realized she had told him to leave her so that he wouldn't witness her passing.
Present - Wolf struggled for a long time as a lone wolf, and after trying his best to fit into a new pack, he realized that he didn't belong there and left soon afterward to remain as a loner. To this day Wolf is a lone wolf, and wants nothing to do with packs, although the story of his pack is well known amongst the animals and he is very well respected by all. Wolf has mastered the art of being a true wolf, and he feels that in a way he has repaid the debt of his mothers' knowledge that she had taught him from birth. Although he is fairly old now, he still misses her, but doesn't mind talking about her and all the wonderful memories of his past.
